Delivered on time. Communications prompt. Pink sponge cake delicious and in perfect condition.

We ordered the fruits of the forest gateaux and it was delicious.

I have been a customer for over 30 years at the Marylebone Shop, and more recently with home delivery. i have been extremely happy with the quality of cakes and pastries over the years. However, the last delivery of cakes was extremely disappointing. We had a whole carrot cake delivered a few years ago which was gorgeous, however, the recent slices (from the Madame Valerie Selection) of carrot cake were awful . They seem to have changed the recipe completely and changed to much cheaper ingredients, with the frosting tasting so synthetic and completely unappealing that it went straight in the bin. The cakes look as lovely, but the taste is so different, a shadow of their former selves. I have tried to call to discuss my experience, but there was no answer. If this is a reflection of all the cakes now offered by Patisserie Valerie, after 30 years of custom, i am afraid i won't be ordering again.

Awesome service!!! I live in the US but want to send a cake to daughter in London. You guys made it easy and delicious!! Plus I loved the extras options...cake inscription and balloons. My daughter feels so far away on her birthday....you guys made it possible for me to celebrate from across the sea. Love the delivery option too....ordered last year...this year and plan to continue!! Thank you!

Order process, delivery, packaging, presentation, taste all excellent.
The only negative is that it takes so long to choose with so many gorgeous options ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These cakes were fabulous a gift for a birthday and very much appreciated.
A loss of 1 star for the delivery as it was late in the day so order for day before you need them.
The delivery was abandoned at the back door so only just saw it and the cakes were defrosted and crumbling.
However we saved them and no one noticed…

Easy ordering, next day delivery within time as notified, very well packaged. Once opened the cake itself looked lovely and tasted divine! Birthday girl was very happy.

Hi there I was looking forward to the cake I ordered but as soon as it got delivered the whole box was wet even the inside package was damaged.....after that the balloons I ordered were all torn so I couldn't blow them up had my living room cover in confetti which made more mess and the suprise for my hubby was spoilt cuz I had no balloons in the house to suprise him....

The cake looked amazing, was packed beautifully but the taste was a little underwhelming. The sponge is very light but I found the cake too creamy with not enough jam to give it some sweetness. A great service though and a beautiful centrepiece for my Sons Graduation celebrations.
I must also add I had great customer service, I had a small problem with my order my fault really, the customer service team were excellent and very quick to respond.

Dreadful choice of sandwiches. Not even bite size portions. Would not recommend. Received 4 extra tiny chicken sandwiches, no choice .appalling!!!

I ordered this as a gift and the recipient thought the cake was amazing. It was shipped with dry ice to ensure freshness. Glad that the fruit toppings were still fresh when it arrived! I’m also glad it was delivered the day I set without too much hassle.
